Get to know what is awaiting for us! It’s like facing your race before it’ll happened.
Visualization and planning before is best way to get ready for all possible situations. Planning what to do in every stage of your race, where to work harder and where to preserve your energy. Of course depend on actual situation during a race we’ll need to adjust our strategy. Our goal is to stay strong til end of race and don’t burn out too early. If there will be chance to get good time and place we’ll fight and work for it. But if we’ll be safe we’ll go steady and strong all race (hopefully)
Probably easiest we’ll try to get through toughest part of race and work steady through rest.
Yes, we think that good steady pace through a race is better than changing your pace all the time. We think, as well, that’ll be better to loose a little bit on hardest parts than lots on end of race.
