I am a fully qualified swimming coach based at Valley Leisure Centre in Newtownabbey and Grove Wellbeing Centre in Belfast, having graduated from the University of Rzeszow in Poland in Sport and Rehabilitation. I am a fully qualified coach for swimmers with disabilities, a BSAC-certified Snorkel Instructor, a Water Jets Instructor, and a PADI Open Water Rescue Diver. I am also a registered swimming coach with the Swimming Teacher Association (STA), with member number AM18167.

I began my swim coaching career in Belfast in October 2007 at Grove Leisure Centre. Shortly after, I started coaching for the Make-a-Splash program with Belfast City Council, working at Grove Leisure Centre, Ballysillan Leisure Centre, and Whiterock Leisure Centre.

Due to increasing demand, I decided to offer private coaching sessions, including both one-to-one and two-to-one lessons. In May 2009, I was honored to be nominated by children and parents for the Lucozade Sport Belfast Physical Activity and Sports Award as Best Newcomer Coach of the Year.

My main goals as a coach are to:

  • Promote a safe and friendly environment for swimming
  • Provide the highest standards of teaching
  • Help children and adults develop their swimming skills and strokes
  • Create an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere filled with fun
